What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed by a website on your device. It stores information between visits: for example, keeping your session open or remembering your language preference.
Types of cookies used
Oyeba uses four categories of cookies, detailed below. Only essential cookies are placed without your consent. For the others, your choice is recorded and revocable at any time.
Essential cookies
These cookies are necessary for the service to work. Without them, you cannot sign in or use the app.
- oyeba-consent: your consent choices for non-essential cookies
- oyeba-anon-id: anonymous browser identifier, generated locally, used to link your consent decisions
Every consent change is also recorded server-side (consent_log table) with this anonymous id, a timestamp, your language and a salted hash of your IP. Your raw IP is never stored.
Preference cookies
These cookies remember your interface choices (light or dark theme, density, default view). They improve your comfort but are not essential.
Analytics cookies
To understand how our site is used and to improve it. The data is anonymized and aggregated. We use a self-hosted analytics solution, without transfers to Google Analytics or equivalent.
You can refuse these cookies at any time, the experience stays complete.
Marketing cookies
We do not use marketing or advertising cookies. No third-party cookie (Facebook Pixel, Google Ads, etc.) is placed on our site.
